How do I take a customer call?

When you are ready to accept Customer Requests, simply open your app and set the Availability toggle to On.


Once you’ve indicated you’re On there are two ways to take calls:

  1. You can rely on  push notifications to inform you when a call in your category comes in.  A push notification is a message that pops up on your phone screen even when you’re not actively in the app.  You’ll be able to tap the push notification to accept or reject the call.
  2. You can also keep your app open and see the calls as they come in on the home screen.  Experts who are actively in the app see incoming calls first. When you’d like to accept an incoming call request simply tap the green  “accept a call” button at the bottom of your screen.
  3. When you are finished working, toggle your availability back to Off. If you would like to block off specific times to never receive any Customer Requests, go to My Settings and select My Availability.
