When you are ready to accept Customer Requests, simply open your app and turn off Do Not Disturb on the Availability page.
Once you’ve indicated you’re available, there are two ways to accept calls:
- An internet based video call - A push notification that includes a ringing sound and visual banner will appear on your phone screen even when you’re not actively in the app. You’ll be able to tap the push notification to accept or reject the call.
- A phone call - Your phone will ring as it normally does during incoming call from a local or long distance phone number ('6YA' may or may not appear as the caller ID).
The method in which you are contacted is selected by the customer.
When you are no longer available to accept calls, go back to the Availability page and turn Do Not Disturb back on.
